About the Lodges

Appalossa Lodge and Bleddfa View are spacious self-catering accommodation consisting of well-equipped utility room, kitchen and open plan dining and living room, bathroom with shower and bath and two good sized bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room.

The log cabins are situated on an 18 acre small-holding that backs onto the unspoilt beauty of the Radnor forest. With views down the valley towards Whitton and Knighton, the lodges overlook an area of outstanding natural beauty but are within reach of local amenities.

Lower Fishpools Lodges are situated one mile from Bleddfa, a small village whose name derives from ‘Bleddfaich’ meaning ‘the place of the wolf’. Bleddfa has a pub, church and Art gallery but for shopping you will have to visit the market town of Knighton (seven miles) or the Spa town of Llandrindod Wells (ten miles).

Cabins are fantastic with all the creature comforts. All the kitchen appliances made self catering a breeze. Hot tub is a great idea expecially after a long walk. Would definitely recommend and make a return visit.
